A permanent digital archive

This archive exists to preserve the remembrance of H.H. Shri Bholanath Ji Bhagwan and the Nath Parampara — with care, with honesty, and for all who wish to know.

What is gathered here has been drawn from memory, testimony, and the printed teachings of the tradition. It is offered not as a finished work but as a living one — growing as more comes to light, held always to the standard of what is true.

Remembered in the Nath Parampara

Within the Nath Parampara, H.H. Shri Bholanath Ji Bhagwan is revered as its source and origin. The living tradition begins with Him and continues through those who have devoted their lives to preserving His remembrance. Shri Bholanath Ji is worshipped within this tradition as Bhagwan — God Incarnate, the Divine in human form. Those who came into his presence often described a quality of stillness they attributed to him alone, a quality that remained with them long after the encounter had passed.

What devotees most often recalled was how he received people. Whether someone came with devotion, with doubt, or with nothing particular in mind, many described the experience of feeling genuinely seen — not assessed, but met. Those who sought him out during difficult periods of their lives have spoken of leaving his presence carrying something they could not name, but did not forget.

His words were described by those who received them as uncommonly direct — not instruction, but something that arrived precisely where it was needed. Many within the Parampara have spoken of carrying a single phrase or observation of his across years, returning to it in different seasons of their lives and finding it still present, still speaking. For those who sought his guidance, the experience of being heard by him was itself regarded as a form of grace.

Within the Nath Parampara, the memory of Shri Bholanath Ji Bhagwan has been kept not as nostalgia but as living practice — carried forward by those who knew him and by those who have come to know him through their remembrance. This website has been created to preserve that remembrance with care and to offer it respectfully to all who wish to learn, reflect, or remember.

To behold Shri Bholanath Ji is a sacred blessing.
To touch His feet dissolves the burden of sin.
To listen to His words is to walk the path of liberation.
To embrace Him is to attain heaven.

These four lines have been held with care across generations — not as doctrine, but as gratitude.

Those who came near him knew him as Bhagwan.

The Nath Parampara formed around his presence.

Their remembrance is what follows.

23 June 1902

Born in Lahore

H.H. Shri Bholanath Ji Bhagwan was born in Lahore on 23 June 1902. The community of the Nath Parampara took form around him in Lahore over the decades that followed — gathering in his presence, receiving what he offered, and beginning to preserve what was given.

7 May 1939

Divine Union Day

The marriage of Shri Nathji and Savitri Deviji — later revered as Mahamateshwari — was solemnised in Lahore on 7 May 1939. Shri Babaji Bhagwan was present. He was 37 years old; she was 23. The date has been observed within the Nath Parampara as Divine Union Day.

Before 1947

The Lahore Years

Lahore was the early home of the Parampara. During these years Shri Babaji Bhagwan was present in the gathered community. Children like Pranji grew up near the centre of the tradition.

1947 onward

After Partition

The Partition of India in 1947 changed the geography of the Parampara. The community moved from Lahore to the cities of northern India. In Sarojini Nagar, Delhi, the work of printing and distributing the teachings continued — pamphlets were printed, devotees gathered, the remembrance was carried forward.

7 May 1993

Divine Union Day Remembered

The 54th anniversary of the 1939 marriage. The month of May 1993 had come, as one account records, on a sad note. This occasion is the context from which many of the accounts held in the archive were written.
